Central Fife Sheds Terms and Conditions 

Guarantee 

All our timber buildings come with a 2 year guarantee from date of installation. This guarantee will only apply if the building remains in place where our team has installed it with no adaptations and has been treated as advised within the timescale listed below – see treatment. Our guarantee covers that the building is fit for purpose and is watertight. We do not manufacture, therefore cannot guarantee , the roofing felt from storm damage, bubbling, shrinking or cracking. 

Delivery and Site Access 

On the day of delivery, you will be contacted by the installation team prior to their arrival. Please make sure that there is clear access for the vehicle to park and allow the team space to bring panels onto your property. Any obstructions must be cleared to prevent trips or damage to vehicles or property. The installation team will not, under any circumstances, lift panels over walls, hedges, fences etc. If there are any access issues at your property, please make us aware at time of purchase. Failure to do so may incur extra charges. 

Site/base 

Please make sure your site/base is clear and level for the team to install your building. If the base is not suitable for the installation, the building will be dropped on site, if space allows, or brought back to our unit and we will return to install the building when the issue is rectified. You will be contacted with an alternative installation date once you have informed us the site/base is ready. This will incur a charge of £60.00. Our teams cannot wait for bases to be prepared or finished.  

Treatment 

All our buildings are treated with a temporary water-repelling preservative before leaving manufacture. It is recommended that the building is treated with a good quality oil-based treatment within 3 months of installation. Failure to do so will void your guarantee. 

Payment 

Full payment is due on order. 

Faults or defects 

If there are any issues on the day of installation, our team will report this to head office on their return. You will be contacted the same day, or the next working day, to arrange a suitable time to resolve the issue. If you are dissatisfied with your building in any way, please contact us within 7 working days from installation and we will rectify any issues.
